NewSong Covenant Church :: Beaumont, Texas

What to Expect

Welcome to NewSong Covenant Church, a brand new church family, brimming with energy and optimism. We are currently worshipping in the west end of Beaumont as Beaumont’s newest Christian community.  Our vision is to proclaim "a faith for all ages" – to communicate the timeless Gospel message. At NSC, there is "no experience necessary!" If you've never been to church before, don't let that stop you from paying us a visit. You'll find our approach to worship reverent, uplifting and timely. You'll find people of all backgrounds and ages worshipping, serving, and growing in their relationship with Jesus. Lively preaching, sacramental worship and community service make NewSong the place to be. We hope you'll come and join us!

At NewSong Covenant Church, we want to "clear the way" for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly family environment, and the enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of NSC. And, we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there... what should I wear... what's available for my kids... what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect . . .
  • It's okay to smile. We think it's important that the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your teens, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go. You'll enjoy great music—both ancient and modern—and  practical gospel messages that help you deal with real life issues. What you learn on the weekend, you'll be able to use during the week. We work hard to present an uncompromised view of scripture while maintaining the compassion and love of Jesus Christ.

  • There are no dress codes.  We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and you'll fit right in.
  • We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. We think both of these goals are important. You'll see that in the groups the children and students meet in, and even more in the volunteers who work with your kids. Check out NewSong Little Ones, NewSong Kids and NSC Youth.

  • It’s no secret—at NewSong we love children.  Every service includes a special message specifically tailored for our little ones.  We encourage the entire family to come forward to receive the Lord’s Supper together.  Through the use of video, songs, stories, and crafts, your children will be cared for by Miss Sherry and her NewSong Kid’s ministry team.  They will learn important Bible lessons while having a good time.
  • Leave your wallet at home.  The church is supported by its members who call it home, and you can expect that no one will try to pressure you out of your money.  We don’t expect you to give anything.  Instead of wanting you to give something, it's important to us that you get something!

  • Our worship service lasts about one hour.  We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week and every member of your family (youngest to oldest) is welcome at the communion table.  The children will then be invited to leave the sanctuary for special NewSong Kid’s time offered during the morning message.  The service ends with a prayer of blessing over the congregation.  Our guests are then free to leave or they may choose to visit after the service.  Stay as long as you like and know that you are always welcome to join us for a time of refreshments and learning for all ages immediately following our morning worship.  Our Christian education classes begin about 11:30 am will end around 12:15 pm.
  • If it's been a long time since you've been to church, NSC has you in mind! There's already enough you have to think about when you're visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this "stuff" out of the way not only encourages you to join us for church, but also helps you to connect with the hope and encouragement that God has for you.
