The mission of NSC Adults is to encourage people in their faith, and to help with some of the tough issues in life. We offer the following courses:
NewSong Cafe Investigating Membership If you're new to NewSong Covenant Church, we encourage you to join us at the next NewSong Café. It's a great opportunity to meet some folks, ask some questions, talk to a staff member or two, and think about the next steps toward membership. And...you get a free lunch! NewSong Cafés are held after the service on a quarterly basis. To sign up now for our next gathering, please contact the church office 781.1635.
At NewSong, members are not just names in a database-they are the core of the church committed to discipleship lived out in community. Becoming a Member means deliberately, intentionally devoting yourself "to the fellowship" - to a specific local body as described in Acts 2:42
At the NewSong Café you will hear about the Mission, Vision and future of our new church. You will have a time to ask questions of key staff and to hear how being a member at NewSong has changed other people’s lives. Following the NewSong Café you will need to search your heart and ask God, "Where do you want me to worship? Which local church body?" Once those questions are answered, the next step is "How do I sign up?" New and recommitted believers then commit to participating in a small group for six weeks. This time will give you the opportunity to meet together with other new and recommitted believers who are at the same place in their journey as you are. You will be led by a trained small group leader as you explore the basic practices of a Christ-follower. Generally there will be 10-12 people in your group. The group will meet in the leader's home and experience what it means to be in community with other believers.
Vision Desserts
Vision Desserts are informal gatherings that provide an opportunity for newcomers to interact with NSC members and staff in a casual home setting. You will learn more about the vision of NewSong while enjoying an evening of great desserts and conversation.
The Alpha CourseThis is a series of fifteen talks that provide an intelligent and lively survey of Christian Truth.
The Marriage Course A series of seven date nights in which, after a scumptious dessert, couples discover new tools to strengthen their marriage relationship. This course is offered in the Fall.
Financial Peace University (Coming Soon)Using the teachings of Dave Ramsey, this course will empower you to take control of money in your life. You'll find this to be a liberating experience.
