Rick Conrad, our piano playing pastor, grew up in a family very active in its local Roman Catholic Church. He committed his life to Christ during his junior year at Westminster College where he would later receive his degree in Music. After serving as children’s/music minister for 7 years at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Sewickley, PA, Rick felt a call to ordained ministry. During the next two decades, Rick and his wife Sherry would successfully plant three churches across America. In March 2008, after 24 years of ordained ministry, Pastor Rick decided he could no longer support the decisions and direction of the national Episcopal Church, and resigned from ministry in the Episcopal Church. That same month, he accepted a new call to plant a fourth church, NewSong Covenant Church. Rick and his wife Sherry recently celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary. They have three adult children, Christopher age 28, Sean age 25 and Chelsea age 22.
